Jeff BrownJEFF BROWN, M.A., is the Executive Director of Compassionate Communication of Central Ohio, a nonprofit organization based in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He has been a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication since 2005, and has led trainings in 18 states and 5 countries including Japan, Holland, South Korea and the U.K. Jeff has a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Jeff is a recognized leader in the global Compassionate Communication movement, begun by clinical psychologist and international peacemaker, Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. Compassionate or Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a life-changing practice that builds trust, transforms conflict and creates harmony in relationships. NVC facilitates the flow of communication needed to resolves differences peacefully, without resorting to punishment, force, manipulation or blame. Practiced in 35 countries worldwide, NVC helps people understand and celebrate differences in race, class and gender, and to connect across differences in political, religious or cultural beliefs.
