The Harvard MBA businessman's perception of success, accomplishment and fulfillment is very different from the Fisherman. Compassionate Marketing teaches us that we all have our own set of values, talents and desires, and that if we stay true to ourselves and use our talents to help others, we will accomplish miracles (for ourselves and others). Jane refers to "blessings in our own backyard". Acres of Diamonds is a terrific little Book with a poignant message, and like Jane's statement reminds us (or teaches us) that we need not look elsewhere for the treasures of life; we should look inside ourselves!
